I am an experienced professional with a wealth of experience in strategy, operations, and public engagement. With my current position as the Senior Associate for Strategy and Operations, I am responsible for creating and implementing strategies that drive the success of the goals of the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, an initiative within the Obama Foundation. Prior to this, I served as a Communications Associate with the Institute for Higher Education Policy, and in various roles at West Virginia University. At both places, I honed my skills in effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and student success and completion. Additionally, I have a wealth of experience in the public sector, having served as a Commissioner for the State of West Virginia, where I led numerous initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. My background also includes experience in guest services, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership.Additionally, I have extensive experience in higher education, having served as a Graduate Assistant for the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at West Virginia University and as a Resident Assistant for over three years. I also have experience in the hospitality industry having worked as a Guest Services Associate at Marriott International. My expertise in relationship building, event planning, and project management make me a valuable asset to any team.
