Participated in design and development of a flexible HTML5+Flash video and audio player for both desktop and mobile web, using PHP, TypeScript, ActionScript, and jQuery. Implemented features such as video crossfade transitions, a Flash-based ADTS AAC audio transmuxer, a VAST 3.0 ad component, a nodejs-based compile/minification/sourcemapping/CI process, and a buffering mechanism for live audio clips.Acted as lead architect for Vadio's Android video player SDK, with core logic written in C++ 11 and front end in Java. Implemented playback and crossfading of protected HLS streams, Chromecast support, custom video trimming, and a highly customizable player API for 3rd-party consumption.
