MISSION COMMANDER / AIRBORNE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER EVALUATOR / FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR• Served as the lead Naval Flight Officer (NFO) and equipment and mission expert for 60 Navigators (NAV) and Airborne Communications Officers (ACO)• As Model Manager, developed and maintained content for the ACO & NAV Job Qualification Requirements, evaluated courseware, organized training, and evaluated 16 community NFO Instructors, 8 Assistant Instructors and 20 Navigators.• As Project Manager, scheduled 14-day plan including 40 exercise scenarios and 8 positional exams for Operational Readiness Inspection encompassing two 400-member squadrons, three 50-member detachments and three 60-member mobile support teams.• Directed and motivated an 18-person flight team in independent worldwide operations of a $250 million communications aircraft in support of the U.S. Nuclear Weapons System.• Key Instructor during acceptance of new aircraft platform and new mission as the Strategic Airborne Command Post, testing equipment reliability and performance, and training crews in new tactics.OPERATIONS / EXERCISE PLANS / TRAINING OFFICER• Designed and executed flight schedule utilizing 7 aircraft, 200 aircrew and multiple airfields while coordinating nuclear alert requirements, local flight schedules, air refueling events, deployed operations and exercise scheduling.• Received the Navy Achievement Medal for planning a major operational exercise utilizing 4 aircraft, 5 aircrews and one logistics team at 3 airfields resulting in 100% mission success.• Responsible for strategic planning, developing operational tactics, and creating standard operating procedures for high visibility nuclear command and control mission.• Designed a database for management of over 200 personnel, ensuring the stringent nuclear security program requirements were met with 100% success.• Ranked #1 of 17 LT(jg)s.
