I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, receiving a BA in Government and Politics and a minor in History.In my time at UMD I engaged in several opportunities to develop my political analysis and research skills. I designed, created, and administered a solo research project surveying people's interaction with different political media formats. I then investigated how different media formats could impact one's development or evolution in their conception of American politics and political beliefs. I also had the opportunity to be involved in a collaborative international research project in the field of astronomy. My peers and I published our data and findings in the 50th edition of the Minor Planet Bulletin, providing me with ample experience in collaborating with researchers in-person and across the world.My experience in the academic realm has shaped my interest in research generally, with a particular passion for political media and the ways in which it shapes the political sphere in the United States and around the world.
