Provide strategic direction, trend analysis, and oversight of CSi’s planning, administration, customer service, business development and marketing activities.In 2017, led the transition of CSi becoming an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) company to reward the employees who helped build the organization and to ensure CSi’s longevity. Continue to support internal mentoring and training programs to provide younger field and project management employees with experienced superintendents and project managers for years of training and guidance.

Joined CSi in 1972 as a junior estimator and held project management and business development positions prior to becoming president in 1986. Expanded the services offered to the commercial construction industry and those provided directly to building owners and facility managers of corporate headquarters, in-patient hospitals, medical office buildings, commercial buildings, restaurants, distribution centers, and collegiate facilities. Consistently maintained CSi as one of central Ohio’s largest employers of skilled craftsmen, which positioned CSi to self-perform significant portions of projects, providing clients a high level of job site security, schedule flexibility, exceptional quality and responsiveness.Served in leadership roles for industry associations including Associated General Contractors, Builders Exchange (BX), and IFMA. Led establishment of a scholarship program through the AGC in 1998 that has annually awarded scholarships to college students in construction degree programs. CSi has earned five AGC Build Ohio Awards and five BX Craftsmanship Awards to-date.
