Appointed as Interim Laboratory Director for the Applied Systems Laboratory and Executive Director of the Huntsville Research Center. Oversaw significant reorganization resulting in a more than doubling of the overall size, footprint, and funded research.

Part of the executive leadership team for the Electronic Systems Laboratory, the largest of 8 business units at GTRI. -Responsible for strategy, business development, internal and cross-organization collaboration and coordination. Routinely consult with Chief Scientist and Chief Engineer to ensure alignment between strategy and investments.

Temporarily served as a Deputy Director of GTRI and assumed the role of Director of the Electronics, Optics, and Systems Directorate (EOSD) in an interim role while aiding in the hiring of permanent replacement.

Requested by name for recall to active duty with Electronic Attack Squadron 209 (VAQ-209 Star Warriors). -Responsible for coordinating and ensuring execution of special projects to introduce new capabilities to the fleet.

Worked with unit leaders to oversee all Unit Projects in support of NAVAIR PEOs. -Routinely interfaced with senior NAVAIR personnel and leadership to conduct "business development" for the unit by marketing Reserve capabilities and creating business cases and related cost savings.

Led a team of officers in creating and executing unit strategy derived from the direction of the Commanding Officer and Flag-officer leadership.

RQ-7B Shadow and Aerostar UAV Mission Commander. -Coordinated with unit leadership and Naval Test Pilot School to provide training and test event support.

Recalled to active duty. Led multiple forward-deployed Tigershark (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) / Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA)) units conducting counter-IED operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Established and managed the GTRI Lexington Park (Pax River) MD Field Office. -Opened a new permanent office and hired staff on-site. -Established and managed $42m contract with multiple task orders.-Coordinated numerous STEM activities with Southern Maryland Middle-School Science Departments.-Elected to Board of Directors for The Patuxent Partnership representing Academia in the local Southern Maryland business community.

Future Capabilities Lead for USMC/USAF V-22 Osprey Program (PMA275). -As part of the government team, responsible for platform and system roadmaps, budget requests, and supporting science and technology projects and programs. -Routinely created and briefed program presentations to senior government officials and industry executives as well as briefing public and closed venues.

Managed programs supporting F/A-18 & EA-18G (PMA265), Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems (PMA272), Office of Naval Research (ONR), & Presidential Helicopter.

With VAQ-209 Star Warriors, performed co-pilot, navigation, and communications functions as well as kinetic and non-kinetic attack mission planning, electronic surveillance (ES), electronic attack (EA), analysis and exploitation of radar and communications transmissions. Four combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.

With VAQ-142 Gray Wolves and the Electronic Attack Weapons School (EAWS) performed co-pilot, navigation, and communications functions as well as kinetic and non-kinetic attack mission planning, electronic surveillance (ES), electronic attack (EA), analysis and exploitation of radar and communications transmissions. Four combat deployments to support Operations Northern Watch and Southern Watch.

Class Leader for over 40 enlisted personnel in Nuclear Field Electrician's Mate and follow-on Nuclear Power School at Navy Nuclear Power Training Command. -Graduated as "Class Honorman" and selected for Officer Candidate School with follow-on to Naval Flight Officer training.
