A senior business and development expert, having started my own company in Egypt in 1980 after many years in France finishing my education. Pioneering the first B2B databases in Egypt and becoming a franchisee and correspondent of major international groups, such as "Kompass International", "Dun and Bradstreet", etc. I further developed the production of companies' credit reports in the whole middle east leading to a partnership with one of the world's credit insurance groups "Coface", which acquired the company.From 2012, I focused on the Development sector with the aim to apply the acquired business development and knowledge management experience while targeting the Agribusiness sector at the center of Egypt's economy. Pioneering the development and management of digital agriculture networks, combining capacity building and market information with online marketplaces, based on value chain strategies, we managed to secure funding from EU horizon 2020 innovation fund, followed by a range of funding and sponsorships from the embassy of The Netherlands, the Swiss cooperation aid, through Worldfish, Canada Research Agency, USAID, GIZ, and the EU funded LEAP4FNSSA project to promote an African-European multi stakeholder platform for R&I, together with leading private foundations such as Drosos.Active in many professional organizations, being the chair of the French chamber of commerce and Industry in Egypt Agribusiness committee, vice-chair of the EBA Egyptian leading Business Association Agribusiness committee, I have been elected to the board of RUForum for the regional African agriculture universities organization and member of the executive committee representing both the private sector and women.
