This was a union facility with the successful ratification of 2 contracts as a member of the negotiating team.

Adjunct professor teaching electronics courses to apprenticeship and degree candidates. Courses taught have been basic DC and AC electronics. I'm enjoying this opportunity to broaden my experience while also being able to share my applicable experience in the manufacturing industry.

Relocated to Richmond, VA as the Business Development & Engineering Manager for the Mondelez Nabisco Bakery. Led the engineering & commercialization activities in support of over $70MM in capital investments over 2 years. These advantaged assets cut conversion costs, added significant capacity to the supply chain and have driven the strategy of margin expansion & long-term growth.Prioritized capital plans and developed a long-term strategy to ensure continued viability of the Richmond facility including infrastructure, technology, sanitation improvement, machine controls and sustainability.Led the IL6S (TPM) Phase 1 activities in the bakery utilizing prior experience as the AM Pillar lead to mentor and coach the Richmond team. As IIM Pillar lead I've built my capability and utilized the tools such as MP, FMEA & CQV.

Started with Kraft Foods in 2004 at the Dover, DE facility as plant electrical engineer and technical operations lead. Lead many of the maintenance support groups including Utilities, Sheet Metal, HVAC, Calibration and Electrical shops. I then transitioned in 2006 to the Launch Team Leader for the commercialization of the Crystal Light and Kool-Aide single serve "sticks" business. In 2008 I became the Business Unit Manager for the Desserts (JELL-O) and Shake & Bake operations unit within the Dover facility.In 2010 I relocated to the Kraft facility in Champaign, IL as the Business Unit Manager for the Dinners Business Unit where Macaroni & Cheese and Velveeta products are produced. Managed 4 salaried and 250 hourly employees in a 240MM lb business. In 2012 I transitioned within the Champaign plant to the Business Unit Manager of the Enhancers Business Unit where salad dressings, mayonnaise and Miracle Whip are produced. This is Kraft's largest business unit at 8 salaried and 400 hourly employees with an annual volume of around 850MM lbs.
