Responsible for business development in West- and East Europe and several APAC countries. Contributed to the design and roll out of the 'Global Business Team' structure; a customer focused organizational redesign in which global business teams became leading in strategic decisions, rather than the regional organizations or country subsidiaries. The business teams were organized per major market segment, representing R&D, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Controlling. Key purposes for this redesign were increased global market agility, faster market response, and closer proximity to customers (dealers and end-users of crop protection products). This organizational model was the major success factor in AgrEvo's steep growth of business and customer satisfaction on a global scale.

Major achievement was the design and roll-out of a new marketing and distribution strategy based on focused, integrated segment/customer/product portfolio management, value chain integration, development of sustainable key customer relations, and a strong focus on profitability for the key customers and AgrEvo. Robust segment, product, and customer portfolio streamlining led to an increase of profitability by 10% in the first year of roll-out. The profitability growth was continued in the years to follow.
