Front end developer for Zagalabs, working with a local team in Bogota and a client in the US, leading front end technologies and architecture. Some of the initial work was to migrate some of the client's portals from DemandWare to Drupal, and then we started developing new components and new portals in Drupal. Working with AngularJS and D3js is one of the main tasks on everyday assignments.

I had the opportunity to work for a few weeks in San Francisco with our partner company Razorfish, and learn CQ5 and Accurev while working for our client TMobile. Working with QA, Backend and the Design team gave us a quick response time and we were able to deliver on time and with all the features requested by the client.Leading a small front end team was part of my daily duty and I was fortunate enough to count with many talented guys.

I was able to build a Front End team to work on our great set of portals, supporting 4 countries and 3 different languages. We were working on a number of technologies such as HTML5 (modernizr), CSS3 (Less), Javascript (jQuery, Backbonejs, Underscorejs, Requirejs, Gruntjs, Mustache[templates]). All our code was hosted on GitHub, and we tried many tools for bug tracking. We ended up using Jira from Atlassian, then we gave Hipchat an opportunity to manage our internal communication, it is great btw!I had an amazing time during this year, I was able to work by some of the greatest talent in this country, and even a couple of foreign team mates (both brilliant guys).

My first position in Zemoga was as a Junior web designer, so I had to design web interfaces and then code them into html/css to deliver them to the back end Team.After about a year and a half, the User Interface Department was created and I was one of the first team members of this new unit. I then became a mid-level front end developer and improved my skills a lot.Seven or eight months after that, I was then promoted to Lead Front End Developer - Coding Director, and my responsibilities increased, including but not limited to: interviewing and evaluating new candidates, attending to director's meetings representing the UI Department, leading teams, client facing, setting coding standards, researching new tools and technologies that could help the team, controlling the staff occupancy.With Zemoga I've had the opportunity to work off-site and on-site with extraordinary clients like: Sears, IMP, Mozilla, WETV, Palio Communications, A&E Network, DraftFCB, and many more.I've been involved in developments for web sites, marketing web campaigns, web mobile applications, online games, and supporting cross-platform cross-browser sites.

As a web designer I had to apply the client's look and feel or corporate design to the applications that the back end team was developing. It was very interesting because the process was develop first, and style it after.I also developed some interfaces used in IBM kiosk platforms that were also guided by client's corporate design.I worked for various big projects with Colombian clients including but not limited to: Homecenter Sodimac; Credibanco Visa; Banco Popular; Gas Natural; EAAB;

As a helpdesk I had to answer client's calls, understand the type of issue they were having with the Internet Service they had hired, and then guide them through a step-by-step process to solve it.
