Josh Davies is Principal Technical Manager at Fortra’s Alert Logic. As a subject matter expert for Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Josh helps drive Alert Logic’s go-to-market strategy and service development. He joined Alert Logic in 2017 as a Security Analyst, with extensive experience working with mid-market and enterprise organizations; conducting incident response and threat hunting activities. Josh then transitioned into a Solutions Architect role, using his security experience to work with organizations to identify appropriate security solutions. In his current product marketing role, Josh remains closely involved with security operations and threat intelligence initiatives. Alert Logic was acquired by Fortra in 2022. Josh firmly advocates that only through a collaborative approach to cyber defense, where security best practices, challenges, and threat intelligence are shared, will the industry overcome the scale of the threat it faces. In an effort to relieve the skills shortage, Josh also helps educate and equip those looking to enter the cybersecurity profession.
