Jason was responsible for generating ideas and solutions for his clients and prospects across First Horizon's suite of products and services, include lending, deposits, capital markets, treasury management, foreign exchange, interest rate risk management and others.Jason worked with clients to structure financial transactions in support of mergers & acquisitions, capital procurement, working capital financing, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, recapitalization transactions, cash out dividends/distributions, and other strategic transactions.

Jason worked as a Commercial Banker for SunTrust Bank in Charlotte, NC. His responsibilities included all facets of bank relationship management, such as lending, implementing treasury and depository services, giving financial advice and guidance, structuring financial transactions to support mergers & acquisitions, capital procurement, working capital revolvers, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, recapitalization transactions, cash out dividends/distributions, etc., and either providing directly or introducing through partners, the full gamut of SunTrust Bank's offerings. Throughout Jason's experience, he's had success in several industries, including Manufacturing, Energy, Technology, Transportation, Distribution and Services. His clients ranged from closely held and family-run businesses to private equity owned corporations. He has also had experience supporting companies through management transitions, changes of control, ramp-up of products and implementation of strategic initiatives.

Jason served as the central contact person for a diverse client and prospect base in Upstate New York. He quarterbacked the delivery of a wide array of traditional and capital markets bank products serviced directly or through product partners. Most fundamentally, he acted as a trusted adviser to the client’s executive management team. The trusted adviser role revolves around relationship building, idea generation, strategic business discussions, risk management, credit structuring, industry observations, and other matters of elevated importance.Jason managed a portfolio of credit and non-credit relationships of varying size and complexity. Equally important, he was solely responsible for market coverage of prospective clients to achieve goals related to new client acquisition, client satisfaction/retention as well as business growth. Within the Corporate Banking team, Jason focused on companies with annual revenue over $25 million, but as large as ~$2 billion, ranging in structure from family-owned, to private equity held and publicly traded (Jason holds FINRA series 63 and 79 licenses). He was typically responsible for managing a portfolio of 20 - 25 relationships and contributing to business development.
