I am a lifelong learner and ardent dental educator with active dental licenses in CA, MD, NJ, PA and TX. I have expanded my passion for dental care to foster strategic educational relationships with dental students, faculty, deans, corporations, educators, organizations, and industry as well as to work with dental insurance companies.My journey has provided me with the privileged of caring for my patients dental/medical needs; integrating cutting edge technology into my dental practice; inventing/patenting/manufacturing/launching new dental products; creating/presenting educational programs for both domestic and international audiences; collaborating with dental key opinion leaders/researchers on new product development/articles/lectures; discovering ways to utilize/optimize online and social media for educational and promotional purposes; work with dental students, residents, faculty, and manufacturers to facilitate exchange of educational resources; and working with dental insurance companies to review dental insurance claims, chart notes, narratives, electronic claim submissions, digital radiographs, intra-oral photographs and predetermination treatment plans involving dental services to determine reasonableness of treatment as it relates to plan contract provisions, utilization management/FWA concerns, dental plan benefits, claims administration policies, and dental standards of practice.Over the past 22 years, I have learned from being a dentist; entrepreneur, inventor; business owner; Manager of Clinical Product Development; Director of Clinical Affairs; Director of Medical Affairs - Oral Care managing Sensodyne, ProNamel, Biotene; Sr VP of Corporate Relations; Dental Claims Examiner; Eastern PA Dental Director, and National Dental Director.
