I opened the practice after leaving a big six accounting firm, KPMG. I received my undergraduate degree from The American University (Washington, DC), Law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, and Masters of Taxation (LLM) from the University of Miami.At KPMG, I provided corporate, M&A, and estate planning advice to C Level executives at Fortune 500 companies, including MCI/Worldcom, Sodexho/Marriott, and Hechinger Co.Today, I represent “C” level executives and their families in their personal and estate planning matters.My estate planning practice focuses on comprehensive planning which is both cost-effective and impactful. I take a special interest in charitable planning, and plans which allow grantors to impart their values to their beneficiaries. I also frequently serve as a Trustee and have administered over $100 million in estate and trust assets.I am a frequent contributor to publications and periodicals, with recent articles appearing in Bloomberg/BNA, Inc., The Washington Business Journal, and a frequent speaker for NBI and myLawCLE.I have helped a roster of national and international clients, both individual and corporate, grapple with a range of legal and business issues.
