After two decades of work with the DoD, Special Projects Consultant to U.S. and Allied U.S. Support Activities, and Counterintelligence Field Activity (CIFA), it was information like this that convinced me of the urgent and continuing need for a professional company to provide technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) services to government agencies, corporations, and high-profile individuals at risk from intelligence breaches, cybercrime, and hostile electronic surveillance.I founded ComSec LLC in response to this need, building on my extensive experience in Counterintelligence, Cyber, Human Intelligence (HUMINT), SIGINT and TSCM. I recognized early on the increasing convergence between Cyber and TSCM, and led ComSec as the first company to identify and be published under the designation of Cyber TSCM.This insight sets our capabilities apart and continues to be a distinguishing characteristic in the services we offer and our contributions to the global conversation on counterintelligence via publications, articles and presentations at conferences and events across the globe.My work with ComSec has taken me around the world to provide counterespionage advisory services to executive C-Suite clients, Fortune 100 and 500 corporations, and high net worth individuals including celebrities and others at risk from internal and external espionage threats.I also serve as Executive Director of the Espionage Research Institute International and am the driving force behind the effort to reintroduce the Certified Counterespionage Information Security Manager (CCISM) certification program through an LMS.I’m on LinkedIn to connect with people for whom counterintelligence and technical security is also a priority.
