I have worked in small start-ups and Fortune Global 500 corporations. I'm a results oriented professional with 18+ years of diverse and progressive leadership and technical experience. Having been schooled as an Electrical Engineer, I am technically inclined, detail oriented, and fact driven. In college I worked 3rd shift in the defense industry, where I learned to be process focused and technically consistent early on. It was here that I also developed a strong sense of engineering ethics and honesty.After college I switched to a career in Telecoms. My first job was as an Engineer for the world's largest telecom infrastructure provider where I did propagation analysis, network planning, deployment, and optimization. In short order I emerged as a leader and quickly went from engineer to project lead to Director. When asked to build a new Engineering function, I partnered with HR to develop an entire university recruiting program. I love hiring, competence development, and building talent! It was here that I developed my dominant management style, which is that of Player/Coach.I've worked with small start-ups, huge corporations, service providers, suppliers, operators, and infrastructure providers. I find myself in possession of a priceless set of knowledge and experiences. I have been involved with many large network deployments (wireless, wireline, fiber, etc), hired hundreds of employees, built several highly successful organizations, developed global impact technologies, and put half a billion dollars in new business into the Telecom industry.A strategic thinking executive and team builder who achieves results and demonstrates success.
