Served a one-year term as the elected VP-Finance and CFO of the McMaster Students Union. The organization represents over 22,000 full-time undergraduates at McMaster University. The organization has revenues in excess of 12 million dollars, with over 30 full-time staff, 250 part-time staff, and thousands of volunteers.I did a lot in this role, but most importantly, I learned about the challenges student affairs departments face preparing students to quickly and effectively transition from education to gainful employment. The experience working closely and learning more about their technology options motivated my Co-Founder and I to start CareerJSM.
