J.D. Pellecchia, a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional, and Certified Kingdom Advisor,™ is the Managing Partner and Founder of PFS Signature Wealth, a comprehensive, boutique wealth management firm located in Tampa, Florida. Prior to establishing PFS Signature Wealth in 2006, he served his country with honor for nine years in the United States Marine Corps as a Naval Aviator in the EA-6B aircraft. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University and an International MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Building on the foundation of his education and experience as a 4th-generation United States Marine Corps officer, J.D.'s background includes almost thirty years of successful financial analysis and investment planning with Friedman Billings and Ramsey, Merrill Lynch, Private Bank at Bank of America, and PFS Signature Wealth. During this time, he met the rigorous education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements necessary to earn the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation. J.D. is also recognized as a Certified Kingdom Advisor,™ distinguishing him as a committed Christian financial professional who has met high standards in training, integrity, character, and competence as an advisor, leader, and counselor.J.D. is an avid advocate for many charitable organizations in the Tampa Bay area. For First Priority Tampa Bay, J.D. currently serves as Treasurer and is former Chairman of the Board. For the Salvation Army, J.D. serves on the Executive Committee and as Chair of the Finance Committee. J.D. serves as a local Ambassador for the 6th largest U.S. non-profit, National Christian Foundation. J.D. previously served on the Personnel Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee for his local church, South Tampa Fellowship. The Florida State University College of Business recognized J.D. with the 2020 Accounting Alumni Achievement Award. He is honored to have been recently selected as a Professional Advisory Board Member with his alma mater, the FSU College of Business' Accounting Department.J.D. is an outdoor enthusiast. He’s a 4-time finisher of the Marine Corps Marathon and distinguished himself as a top 20 finisher in the Hawaii Half-Ironman many years ago. J.D. enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is the husband of Julie and father of two young adult children, Tye and Amelia.
