I proactively support advanced scientific information techniques (e.g., patent landscaping, text mining or crossing data from multiple sources) and identify, test, recommend, and measure the impact of new tools on the business of Galderma; I also organize the implementation and training. I am the referent for scientific information evolution and access strategy.Advanced techniques for scientific information processing:- text-mining (mainly using I2E - Linguamatics) and bibliometrics: target identification, hypothesis generation, patent support, complex literature/patent search- patent landscaping (with Innography, Questel and Intellixir): assessment of a competitor/potential partner patent portfolio, strategic analysis of a technological areaPharmacovigilance: management of the literature searches in link with the Pharmacovigilance Associates; definition of the search strategies, performing the search for DSUR/PSUR/PBRER, managing the weekly search strategies. Manager of the Scientific Information service in a global company:- management of a team of 3 information specialists,- budget responsibilities (>700 k€/year), management of subcontractors and information providers,- scientific information retrieval, extraction and processing (patents – incl. structural searches - and literature): bibliographic and patent searches. Strong experience with Medline, Embase, Biosis, Orbit, Pharmapendium (incl. PK module), Scopus and many other scientific information sources,- Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance support: weekly reviews, NDA/ANDA annual reports bibliographies, DSUR/PSUR (from creating search strategies to the delivery of the results, especially in line with the EMA Guideline on Good Pharmacovigilance Practices 2011),- internal users training: bibliographical tools and specialized databases (e.g. PubMed, PharmaPendium, Scopus) – Physicians training,- library management : organization, bibliographic database administration policy, journal portfolio management, e-article delivery implementation in line with copyright compliance (copyright issue solved with Legal Affairs department).Competitive Intelligence:- organisation of CI: needs assessment, set-up of information processing, definition of standard products/documents, close work with scientific analysis team,- use of many data sources to gather relevant information according to therapeutic areas for building a competitors pipeline, including registrations forecasting,- CI synthesis writing,- literature and patent survey.Bibliometric analysis (patents, literature and pipeline).Hypothesis generation for drug repurposing. Results : to date 8 hypothesis proposed, 3 became projects (1 in Research, 1 in Development, 1 in Licensing).Strong background in Information Sciences applied to biomedicine, Ph.D. in Information Sciences obtained with the highest distinction.
