My research explores novel risk factors and measures to facilitate more efficient clinical trials and a better understanding of osteoarthritis and its potential subtypes. I also aim to raise awareness about osteoarthritis and promote primary and secondary prevention strategies.I envision a faster therapeutic pipeline relying on clinical trials with fewer participants and a shorter duration by selecting ideal subsets of the population and offering novel sensitive outcomes.I envision reducing the global burden of osteoarthritis with prevention strategies that encourage physical activity and reduce exposure to highly prevalent risk factors.
