CurrentResponsible for design and architecture of IaaS cloud hosting platform on Microsoft Azure, ensuring that the platform meets requirements for resilience, compliance, and availability, while at the same time ensuring that the platform is cost-effective. Implemented infrastructure-as-code practices and tools, including Packer, Terraform, and Ansible, providing engineering leadership and mentorship to staff. Led the development of an API-driven frontend to integrate Packer and Terraform into a single, cohesive unit from operating system image creation to deployment, enhancing the developer experience and reducing friction while maintaining centralized control of compliance-related requirements.Responsible for growing Red Hat Openshift internal offering from proof of concept to production service supporting 150+ internal applications. Provided engineering leadership as well as transitioning day-to-day operations to a dedicated operations team.
