CFO for Flow Components & Industrial Supply since 2016Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, long range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.- Directs the controller in providing and directing procedures and computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.- Directs the treasurer in activities such as custodian of funds, securities, and assets of the organization.- Appraises the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports on organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.- Directs and coordinates the establishment of budget programs.- Advisor in investor relations activities.- Analyzes, consolidates, and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports.- Oversees and directs the preparation and issuance of the corporation's annual report.- Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations. - Analyzes operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole institution, and determines their financial impact.- Evaluates and recommends business partnering opportunities.- Establishes and maintains contacts with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community.

Enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2003. While serving in the Marines, completed two combat tours in Iraq from 2004 to 2006. Being combat promoted twice in Iraq, later became a non-commissioned officer and then becoming a squad leader for a team of Marines. Conducted and planned several combat missions overseas. Successfully, JD and his marines completed every combat mission. Furthermore, besides training his marines, also trained the Iraqi Police and Iraqi National Guard in preparation to fight Al Qaeda and the Taliban. Served in major operations such as Operation Vigilant Resolve in Fallujah, Haditha, Ramadi, Hit, and several other cities. In his time of service he earned 13 awards overall and 7 medals, including a Purple Heart, Combat Action, Meritorious Mast, Certificate of Commendation, and Certificate of Appreciation from the President of the United States (George W. Bush). In 2007, retired from the Marines due to combat injuries from Iraq.
