Current• Manage public health programming for women and girls in Cass, Harrison, Ida, Mills, Monona, Pottawattamie, Shelby and Woodbury counties in Iowa. This includes the Title V Maternal Health, Title V Child & Adolescent Health, and 1st Five Healthy Mental Development programs.• Write all grant proposals and grant reporting mechanisms for ~20 funding streams with one million dollars of funding. This includes managing fees-for-service billing to Medicaid for services provided as well as federal, state, and local funding sources. • Perform continuous quality improvement of our child and adolescent health, maternal health, oral health, and 1st Five programs. Continuous quality improvement efforts include both output/outcome and process improvements. • Supervise a team of 15 personnel, with as many as 10 direct reports, with weekly reflective supervision. Grew team from 6.5 FTE to 12 FTE during tenure. • Serve on many multi-agency partnerships including Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC) Youth & Families and Food Access subcommittee leadership, Community Wellness Bash Steering Committee, Head Start and Early Head Start Health Advisory Councils, wellness coalitions in each county served, and many others. Function as backbone organization lead for collective impact efforts including Southwest Iowa Breastfeeding Coalition, Children’s Oral Health Coalition/Dentist by 1 Coalition, and Maternal Mortality Coalition. • Conceptualized and launched a mobile wellness program which provides preventative screenings in communities for low-income children and pregnant women. Oversee the unit in its first two years of operations. In this time, over 1,200 children have had access to a one-stop shop for preventative screenings in their neighborhood/community and over $500,000 has been secured for ongoing program operation. • Managed social media networks, communication via online resources, and fundraising campaigns for Firefly (formerly FAMILY, Inc.).
