CurrentINFORMATION ARCHITECTURE AND WEBSITE MANAGEMENTResponsible for the site architecture of the websites under the OCLC Membership and Research division.I work with division managers, directors and vice presidents to ensure their division web presence is up-to-date and in accordance with their goals. I also collaborate with other OCLC staff and internal OCLC departments such as Marketing, Product, and Development to make sure websites are running smoothly and reaching desired metrics.I help maintain and track website metrics for all divisional websites. This includes websites outside the primary content management system;such as beta and test applications, blogs, and archival systems.I also actively;* Stay current with updates and upgrades to the current content management system.* Stay current on web design, usability, interaction and technology* Analyze, translate, and define business requirements for desired enhancements and upgrades to websites, web pages, and web applications.* Work within an aggressive Agile development schedule when needed.UI DESIGN AND MAINTENANCE OF LEGAGY AND NEW WEB APPLICATIONS I also retained responsibility for creation and maintenance of user interfaces for web applications within the OCLC Research group. This includes;Analyzing and interpreting project owner’s requirements into a functioning and usable web application.Web design, interaction design, information architecture, and basic front-end development of web-based application prototypes. This includes creation of wire-frames and HTML/CSS/JS prototypes.Regular communication with product owners, business stakeholders and end users.GRAPHIC AND INFORMATION DESIGNI also like to work in information visualization special projects that help users explore the rich bibliographic data exclusively available to OCLC.
