As an overseer of as much as $1B in revenue annually, I lead a team of cross-functional accounting and bookkeeping professionals in driving overall financial strategy and managing reporting and auditing for 90 hotel properties. By reviewing all income and expenditures, I ensure accurate revenue and expense tracking to prepare monthly P&L statements for corporate-wide financial reporting. I also manage all aspects of daily, monthly, and annual financial operations while facilitating cost-control and accounting for capital improvement and construction projects. I serve as the primary point of contact for external auditing processes, I work with Big Four and regional accounting firms to spearhead the quality assurance/quality control process and successfully deliver accurate audits.

I also managed financial operations for more than 125 properties collectively generating more than $800M in annual revenue while leading a team of accounting, AP/AR, analysts, audit, and financial reporting professionals.During my time at WHI, I also led full-cycle construction accounting for the ground-up construction of new multi-functional hotel, conference, restaurant, and event facilities throughout the U.S. WHI developed individual projects ranging from $20M upwards of $60M, overseeing construction expenditures and budget performance for construction contracts throughout the eastern, Midwest, and southeast regions of the U.S.
