My focus is on financial modelling and the economics underpinning the app, progressing negotiations with potential partners, advising on key gameplay dynamics, and ensuring the app has an engaging tone of voice.

I work with startup founders to solve their problems and bring their ideas to life.Skills used: strategic analysis and decision-making, financial modelling, content writing, email marketing, UX insight, cross-functional ideating and problem-solving.- Facilitated the CEO of a large US coding school building a new staff budget and strategy, after recent significant wage inflation in the industry. I unearthed and presented internal payroll data and acted as an external sounding board. - Developed a new co-working space and accelerator for startups and SMEs, as part of a larger urban regeneration project. I built their financial model, advising on key factors in its commercial success, produced websites and marketing content, prepared pitch documents, and reviewed key commercial contracts. - Helped build a startup-focused consultancy; helped refine the core concept with the founder, identified, recruited and onboarded freelancers to expand the consultancy’s offering to clients, researched, designed and built their first CRM system. - Shaped the marketing campaign of a new wellness app by writing and producing a dramatised podcast series, designed to educate listeners about the app.

Working with the ops team of this men’s sexual wellbeing app, I:- Redesigned and automated the customer support messaging system, leading to a reduction in customer operations time.- Wrote and produced a new email marketing flow to convert potential customers, which drove an increase in conversions. - Identified errors and inefficiencies with the payments and cancellation processes, working with the engineering team to reduce complaints and payment disputes.

Ideating, managing and delivering solo projects for the CEO or working collaboratively across teams to help grow this premium tattoo-removal start-up.- Using Lean Startup methodology, I mapped customer experience, recommending and delivering improvements to how clients consumed our service, while uncovering potential new revenue opportunities- Assisted senior management with a strategic creative narrative project, which redefined the business and its mission. This meant that we could plan a roadmap to diversifying our offering while retaining a focus on what made us special. - Tenaciously investigated a competitor’s technology, leading technical teams in investigations to understand their secretive unique selling point.- Wrote and produced a new system of customer messaging to improve lead conversion and reduce cancellations.

I was involved in, and took responsibility for, every aspect of Venture Capital & Debt investments, from winning deals to getting them over the line. As part of the Economics team at Glenigan, a data analytics consultancy, I;- Accurately forecasted the UK construction industry and wider economy using statistical modelling and qualitative analysis on Glenigan’s huge proprietary dataset.- Improved the data collection team’s operations and practices, thereby ensuring market-leading accuracy for my models forecasting construction activity.- Raised Glenigan’s profile through regular speaking appearances around the UK & Ireland, and by writing articles that were quoted in The Guardian, Telegraph and Financial Times.

Finansa is a Bangkok based Private Equity investment boutique. During the summer of 2009, they were in the process of launching a fund to invest in the Mekong area of S.E. Asia.Working closely with the Chief Investment Officer, I produced an in-depth research document which was submitted to the Finansa Investment Director, and formed the basis of their investment proposal.
