Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors, as Director of Program Event, Treasurer and Web Master. Poolesville Green promotes the appreciation, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. I am currently working to organize this year's events including the next National Drive Electric Week and the next Montgomery County Green Fest.I also server as Facebook Editor, Photographer, and Reporter. Photographing and documenting Poolesville Green related events. Reporting on Electric Vehicle and Solar Energy issues and organizing related events. I have also become the webmaster for the PoolesvilleGreen.org website. Projects include: * Reworking the current website and Twitter sites* Organized the Energy track and Electric Car Show/Display for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Montgomery County Green Fest events.* Organizing past and future Electric Car Show/Display for Poolesville Day. For a few years running, I organized and coordinated the highly successful National Drive Electric Week for the Town of Poolesville. Responsible for developing the informational web pages, Facebook sites, and flyers to advertise the event to bring in participants and sponsorship. Was able to increase that participant level and sponsorship by personally meeting with dealerships and local businesses. For 2014, there were 14 plug-in electric vehicles participate in the Poolesville Day Parade and 34 vehicles in the display show. Worked with the Town of Poolesville to establish a safe demonstration track allowing visitors to ride and drive some of the electric vehicles. For 2015, I was able to increase the number of registered vehicles to 42 (15 different models), making it the largest NDEW event in the Washington area. I double the participation for 2016, make our event the largest National Drive Electric event on the east coast and 5th largest, out of 235 events worldwide. In 2017, we had 129 registered vehicles, #1 on the east coast again, #3 out of 289 events worldwide.

Participated and mentored a team of developers responsible for automated testing on a suite of applications used by the proposal development teams. Using 2012 Visual Studio to write C# code to create automated tests in both Coded UI and Selenium to test the web based applications used by the proposal teams to prepare, organize and track external proposals. By organizing and tracking testing processes and utilizing superb programming and technical skills, instrumental in significantly decreasing the number of defects passing through to user acceptance testing (UAT)

Program Lead for the IS&GS Passport project team responsible for updating, coordinating and maintaining a SAP Netweaver based web portal used by 35,000 employees, 5 product lines and 10 business areas. Among my responsibilities is the coordination of content to remain consistent between business areas and organizing approvals with communications. I was responsible for scheduling tasks and resources to implement changes/enhancements to iViews (portal applets) associated with the IS&GS portal site, Passport. Utilized effective life-cycle change control and configuration management practices and procedures from development through UAT and performance testing before production implementation. Scheduled and implemented code transports across the servers in each test phase. Additionally, I served as the backup chair and technical rep on the IS&GS Passport Configuration Change Board (CCB), and as the IS&GS representative on the Enterprise CCB, where I reported Passport changes and recommendations between the CCB boards. Accountable for the workload scheduling and projects that reside on the OpenText RedDot (CMS) server, as the IS&GS Content Management System (CMS) Project Lead; assuming a range of responsibilities to make the site accessible and managing all aspects of the server upgrade effort from RedDot 7.5 to 10. Led development and enhancement efforts as part of a team or on own initiative for several websites.

Network/Windows Migration Manager – Responsible for MARAD at the Department of Transportation. Led a team tasked with migrating Novell DOS users to a Networked Windows NT based platform with IP addressing to the Internet. The team was responsible for automation of Windows application installation, Internet and mainframe communications. Additional responsibilities include supervising the use of Windows NT on the LAN, including NT DHCP configuration, NT Web Server, and NT routing/bridging to the WAN.Consultant for the Office of the Inspector General at the Department of Treasury – Assisted in the development of a plan for a WAN environment comprised of NT servers with Windows 95 workstations and assisted in its implementation. The WAN utilized SMS, SMA (BackOffice).ORION Project Developer – Part of a team responsible for formulating the development specifications for the ORION project for the Department of Energy. The ORION project was a plan for setting up a large scale Windows NT base WAN at the Oakridge, TN site. The team, flown into Oakridge, formulated a complete phased implementation plan. The plan included the information required to purchase and install the WAN hardware and software.

IT Support Lead – Led a team that provided software development for the Department of Energy. We assisted DOE to transition to a Windows LAN environment, converting DOS systems to Windows systems using Visual Basic Pro and third party libraries to provide professional Windows applications

Worked various IT positions in both unclassified and classified work for the U.S. Dept. of Energy and U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). A leadership role in providing user and application support on a WAN running on an over 200 file servers and countless workstations. Directly in charge of nine servers used by over 300 DOE employee end users. Worked the transition of the Department of Energy users from a DOS based LAN environment to a Windows base LAN environment. Developed a Windows based management/tracking and reporting system of the Office of Internal Audit (OIA) of Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).

Worked various IT positions for the U.S. Dept. of Energy and internal Calculon projects. Developed an on-line dial-up information data base application (EEGADS) that was resident on a multi-user ALLOY NTNX Networked. This system was based on ALLOY SLAVE/16N hardware with the ATNX and later the NTNX network operating system providing dial-up access for users nationwide.

Worked various IT positions for the U.S. Department of Education. Designed and developed application to control and read data from an Optical Mark Reader device used by the Department of Education’s Payroll (time and attendance). Programmer Analyst on a time and attendance payroll project for the U.S. Customs Service. Senior Programmer Analyst and Task Leader on a project for the General Services Administration to develop a 600-page software aids and tools catalog, Created a program for the World Trade Associates involving development of a project control system, using compiled BASIC, to track the status of bids for spare part contracts.
