Concurrently pursuing an MA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a PhD in Counselor Education from Georgia State University. Recently served as a school-based clinical mental health counselor utilizing play therapy across all 11 schools, preK-12, in City Schools of Decatur. I have run groups for social skills, healthy relationships, anger management, and survivors of sexual violence. I collaborate with school counselors, administrators, school psychologists, social workers, faculty, and parents to create a treatment team, enhancing clients’ success with treatment goals. Special certifications in Geek Therapy, AutPlay Therapy, ASIST, and Psychological First Aid. I work with children, individuals, couples, and more. I worked with Dr Regina Finan and Dr Brian Dew to write Georgia State University Counseling and Psychological Services’ CACREP self-study. I have received multiple awards throughout my undergraduate career in mental health, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Summa Cum Laude with distinction from Georgia State University.
