Helped build one test for all cancer. 2nd software engineer & 1st LIMS team member. Helped grow the engineering team from 2 to 9 engineers and the company from 10 to more than 80, designing & building a custom LIMS (Lab Information Management System) and research pipelines from conception to production. Architected and built the first versions of Freenome's LIMS to simultaneously support a multi-analyte laboratory R&D team, high-throughput clinical lab, and computational research team.As a research engineer, designed & led the implementation of a QC system for multiple next-generation sequencing (NGS) analytes that supports automatic and manual review, complete auditing of changes to tools and thresholds, and central querying and storage of QC metrics. Built a rapid-prototype of a pipeline for immunosorbent protein assays (ELISA, SIMOA) and performed statistical QC analysis which contributed to an AACR Abstract [1] revealing the promise of a multi-analyte assay.Also responsible for:- deployment, management, and monitoring of a Kubernetes cluster and micro-services- code review & mentorship of junior engineers- development of company and engineering culture[1] http://cancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/78/13_Supplement/2227

Software Engineer on the Integrations Team.- Built a full-stack Flask-React-Redux application to allow non-technical customer service employees to schedule data integrations tasks (Celery jobs) with customers.- Designed a fast, accurate general-purpose algorithm to logically match unpaired punch-cards in a stream of time cards from a time and attendance system.- Integrated new customers. Worked closely with Customer Service representatives to validate implementation for customers.- Converted legacy code bases from Python 2 to Python 3

- Built the first versions of the Python, Java, and Android client SDKs for the FrameStack asynchronousvideo-messaging API with full unittest and JUnit testing suites.- Built several Android applications demonstrating the FrameStack Android Library.

- Organized events on CWRU’s campus to promote Google products, brands, and relationships in collaboration with Google marketing teams.

Summer-At-The-Edge program- Designed, programmed, and presented a self-determined research project with the NAO robot to have it navigate a room, find objects, and pick them up. Used the Python NAOqi SDK to write applications in Python combining decision-making, movement, and control.

Built scripts in Python, R, and bash to manipulate DNA base sequences for cancer research.

- Assembled a company-wide inventory of all IT hardware resources for the TRC IT department with Excel Spreadsheets.
