Started my training at BAFA, situated in the beautiful metropole of Antwerp, in the year 2000. Got the opportunity to start working at Jetairfly as a ground dispatcher (occ duty manager) as of January 2005, when it was still a relatively small company with 5 aircraft... then commenced the type rating on B737CL at the end of that year - followed immediately by a conversion on NG.In 2009, I was released on the B767 and 4 years later (2013), I traded the right hand seat for the left :-). Currently pretty busy doing the type rating on Embraer 190 - a new challenge!I'm also passionate about giving instruction! I've been a Flight Instructor SEP(A) since 2005, during which I had the chance to teach a lot of pilots how to handle the C152/C172, P28A and SR20 - I even got the chance to instruct Tom Waes for his major challenge (flying the B737) during an episode of Tomtesterom. Since 2010, I've also been giving instruction in the simulator, working as an SFI on both B737 and B767. And as a TKI (Theoretical Knowledge Instructor) I regularly give courses about Radio & General Navigation, Performance and other PPL/ATPL subjects... At the moment, I am flying as TRI LIFUS on both B737 and E190.
