I develop strategic communications plans to help professional services firms achieve their goals, ranging from winning business and managing reputations to recruiting new talent. A common thread in much of the work I do is media relations.I also work on crisis communications plans to protect the reputations of companies and individuals and mitigate the impact of negative news. Sometimes, this means developing a plan to support a litigation strategy, but oftentimes, it means working behind the scenes for matters that never become public.A significant amount of work I do is in the legal industry, and I have written articles on public relations and crisis communications for trade publications such as The New York Law Journal and Law360. Every year since 2020, I've been named to Lawdragon's "Global 100 Leaders in Legal Strategy & Consulting" list. Earlier in my career, I worked as an editor at a regional news wire service and as a reporter at a MediaNews Group-owned regional newspaper, where I covered general news in a number of Silicon Valley cities.
