• Partner with the Program Lead to develop cross-functional product strategy for the 2nd generation SINE compound in heme/onc, gain approval for strategy with executive leadership, and drive efficient execution of approved strategy on time and on budget. • Coordinate internal (ClinOps, Medical, Pre-clinical/Translational, Regulatory, CMC, Commercial, etc.) functions to ensure alignment, operational efficiency, and program success. • Partner with functional leadership to foster a high-performing, cross-functional team culture. • Monitor project performance, risk management, and issue resolution for the cross-functional team.• Partner with the Program Lead to proactively monitor the market and regulatory landscape and recommend adjustments to the approved product strategy or lifecycle management additions as appropriate from both a development and commercialization perspective.• Apply project management best practices in the project development, initiation, planning, execution, and closing.

• Drive the development, creation, and implementation of high quality, global, coordinated cross-functional project plans for products in accordance with the program strategy and in partnership with the Program Lead. • Manage cross-functional activities to successfully deliver on aggressive timelines and escalate critical issues to the Executive Team. • Manage timely escalation of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives as they relate to improving project delivery.• Create, maintain, and update program dashboards to communicate program status to executive leaders. • Provide leadership for the project team by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.• Conduct risk management and scenario planning to develop contingency and/or risk mitigation plans.• Provide status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across executive leadership (C-suite, department heads).• Work with functional teams to procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives within planned timeframes.• Delegate and oversee tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

• Lead and implement science-driven digital initiatives within key clinical development programs at KPTI. • Design and implement the integration of digital tools into clinical studies and clinical care to maximize patient outcomes. • Provide strategic leadership and on-going intelligence for emerging technologies suitable to support the development of novel clinical endpoints. • Provide ongoing leadership on operational considerations related to the integration of digital technologies in clinical trials, ensuring smooth operation, productive execution, efficient communication, data interpretation, and internal alignment across all stakeholders.• Effectively partner with key stakeholders, external vendors, and academic collaborators to inspire and deliver value to the business• Lead the development and implementation of automated data visualizations in clinical studies and digital data monitoring.

• Develop and validate technology that integrates bio-behavioral signals with computational algorithms to translate strategic vision into product concepts, particularly in the behavioral health space. • Continually broaden the reach of digital therapeutics research endeavors by developing cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Lead the design and creation of scalable algorithms to dynamically adjust VR experiences to users’ bio-behavioral input. These algorithms are currently protected by a provisional patent application, with a full application in process.• Lead a team of data scientists in the development of a suite of reusable data analysis and visualization tools for bio-behavioral signal processing for rapid generation of multifunctional product and research insights.• Co-design and manage final refinement of VR product for mental health management, including weekly and ad-hoc partner calls.

Under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Freeman: • Develop highly scalable algorithms based on state-of-the-art machine learning, artificial intelligence, and neural networks, resulting in world-class predictive models. • Optimize algorithms and analytic approaches to behavioral and biological data through development and launch of platforms capable of ingesting tens of thousands of behavioral and biological data points to provide actionable insights about human biology and behavior. • Conduct in-depth research and experiments to successfully implement new methods for scalable predictive models in the bio-behavioral sciences. • Create custom techniques, applied mathematical models, machine learning functions, and predictive model architectures.

• Manage and mentor a team of 5-10 research assistants to safely & ethically execute human subjects research studies• Outfit multiple lab spaces with start-of-the art biobehavioral sensors (ECG, motion tracking, etc.), train team members in their proper use, and trouble-shoot all technical issues that arise• Design and implement cutting-edge research leveraging biobehavioral sensors (ECG, motion tracking, facial expression analysis, etc.) to investigate the nature of human emotion and health outcomes• Create and implement programming scripts in Python/R to present research stimuli, collect data, and analyze biosensor data• Write up research findings, leading to 2-3 conference talks per year and over 15 publications in top-tiered journals• Write research protocols and respond to IRB comments
