Current• Engaged as a consultant to work with private equity clients and their portfolio companies until they place a permanent CFO and then to ensure a smooth transition to the newly hired CFO.• Serves as interim CFO with companies newly acquired by a private equity client as well as to bridge the gap between an outgoing CFO and their replacement.• Produced closing adjusting journal entries and final closing balance sheet for the purchase accounting and rolled forward their Quality of Earnings report from year-end to acquisition date for a newly acquired company so that the company could produce historical financials with current accounting methods.• Documented and reviewed existing accounting processes and internal controls and suggested improvements where needed.• Reviewed and evaluated existing ERPs to make recommendations about whether to go continue with existing systems or to initiate the selection process for replacement systems.• Prepared Excel-based monthly financial reporting templates to use for reporting to PE and lenders.
