I teach 6th grade Math and co-teach 7th grade math for ESL students.

I am currently a Math Resource Specialist for the Math Department at Addison Trail HS. I help a variety of students with math questions from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calc classes. I help students get caught up on their missing assignments or assessments. Last year, I was a behavioral specialist in our ACHIEVE program which supports students who have behavioral and emotional difficulties. I help support the students and teachers in this specialized program. Last year, my responsibilities include teaching one period of Earth Space Science to a Special Education self-contained classroom. During the time I am not teaching, I substitute for a variety of classes. During Summer 2014, I taught an Algebra Credit Recovery class for students who needed support or credit for Algebra 1 before they moved on to Geometry.

My responsibilities included teaching one period of ESL Algebra and one period of ESL Geometry. I also participated in the departments Professional Learning Team for Geometry.

My responsibilities included teaching 5 periods of Special Education Algebra. I also was the case manager for 25 students. I updated IEP's and math goals for all of the students in my math classes.
