Provide support for the Volunteer Reception Center (VRC). Involved in the planning meetings at the senior level of this event. In charge of interviews for volunteers for the reception center and managing volunteers for a variety of events. Support the Action for Tomorrow Kids Health Fair for Kids annually which services 3000 + children. Our team manages 700-900 volunteers for this event: registrations, safety briefings, EM Trac, escorts, runners, greeters, and communications, in conjunction with a Disney Event which required special authorization. The Phx CERT team has been written into the Emergency Operations plan to provide management of Recovery Information Centers and VRC, in addition providing light search and rescue, damage assessments, and rapid response teams. Our team also provides support for the P.F. Chang Marathon, Sky Harbor Disaster Drill, Super Bowl, and various civic events. Participated in the 2013 Power Outage Tabletop Exercise as a observer Member of the Search team working with the Phx Police Dept Missing Person detail. I have been on numerous searches for human remains, missing adults and children, and attend special trainings and classes.
