Recruits for a variety of positions including the Departments of Nursing, Home Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation, Medicine, Cardiology, Surgery, Cancer Center, Center for Primary Care and Prevention, Family Care and other related areas; screens and interviews candidates; coordinates the hiring process; presents orientation and manager training; organizes hospital open houses and job fair events and represents the hospital at outside career and job fairs. Negotiates contracts with vendors (i.e. temporary, permanent placement and travel agencies); Assists in the development of recruitment/sourcing strategies and executes approved objectives; strives to recruit candidates of a diverse background in accordance with the hospital's Affirmative Action Plan; participates in employee relations issues; explains and interprets Human Resources Employment policies and procedures to employees and managers; prepares various reports on recruitment and hiring; ensures all new hire regulatory requirements are met.
