Jean Guilbault began his career at Rolls-Royce and assumed operational and corporate roles which enabled him to understand a broad spectrum of functional areas within organizations. He took over the presidency of Rolls-Royce Industries and was responsible for the aftermarket sector for aerospace for North America and the energy sector including R&D, manufacturing and aftermarket worldwide. His experience provided him with an expertise in strategic management, international business, sales and marketing and business process re-engineering.After 18 years at Rolls-Royce, Mr. Guilbault served as President, Landing Gear and Aerostructure for Heroux-Devtek Inc. His scope was to lead the R&D, manufacturing and aftermarket activities.Mr. Guilbault worked during a period of four years for Korn/Ferry International, one of the most renowned executive search firms as Managing Partner for the Montreal office. In 2009 he founded GXB Leadership an executive search firms which became a dominant player in its market.He was involve in projects in aerospace, artificial intelligence, energy and strategic consulting for a period of time. He subsequently joined MoovinV, a company that uses technology to connects buyers and sellers of certified raw materials, and was responsible for strategy, sales and marketing.He is currently at Kinova, a robotics company, acting as the the VP sales and marketing and is responsible for sales, marketing, product management, service, M&A.He is regularly invited as a lecturer at Montreal University, McGill University and the School of Board of Directors teaching on the subject of strategic management and Board Governance. Apart from being actively involved as a board member for public and private corporations, and for non-profit organizations, he also served on the Board of division of Rolls-Royce.After completing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the University Laval in Quebec City, he regularly took part in training programs and lectures on subjects such as finance, change management, continuous improvement, globalization, board of directors governance, and talent management.
