About Jean Matthee

My journey in the tech world began at an education tech startup where I had to wear many hats and quickly adapt to the fast-paced environment. Seeking a new challenge, I transitioned to a corporate setting to compare and contrast with my startup experience.It was then that I discovered my passion for the product lead role where I could work closely with teams of industry experts while having a hand in steering the direction of the product. My diverse background as both a developer and product lead gave me a unique perspective and a vast knowledge base. Being able to bridge the technical and business world was my biggest advantage.After pursuing that for a while, I saw an opportunity to take my career to the next level and decided to specialise in tech sales and marketing. My current journey has had many great moments, such as expanding our footprint into an entire new market in the Netherlands, understanding the close relationship between sales and marketing, and how powerful relationships are.
