World Digital solidarity Agency is a concrete response to the different digital divides that impede the development of a sustainable and inclusive information society in emerging countries. It proposes broader cooperation within the IT and telecommunications domain between local actors from both north and south nations.At the World Summits on the Information Society (WSIS) the idea of digital solidarity arose from two observations:information and communications technologies (ICT) constitute powerful leverage for social development;the market cannot be the only way to provide universal access to digital goods and services.In light of this worldwide challenge, the idea of solidarity has imposed itself as a particularly appropriate notion in a globalized economy, where societies are increasingly interdependent and where, more than ever, the world is a whole with connected parts.

I coordinated the four main issues of that local digital agenda : foster the digital economy, integrating ICT’s in public schools, set up an eServices strategy and facilitates public access to the Internet through a public cyberspaces network.
