Join Upgrade as part of a team working on the Upgrade Credit Card. I joined Expedia first as part of the GEO team, I was responsible for the design, development andmaintenance of several REST services with strict SLAs. These services were used by all downstream systems in Expedia needing access to geographical data.Later I joined Expedia’s Lodging Connectivity group, where I was part of a team of developersfocusing on two main areas:* Provide a uniform set of public-facing APIs toallow partners to manage property information, room types, availability and rates, whichultimately allows shoppers to book these products on all of the Expedia-owned point of sales.* Develop and maintain the system that delivers property bookings to allthe connected partners, a critical system through which billions of dollars in revenues flow eachyear. These services are built by orchestrating calls to numerous internal APIs and domainservices of all kinds (XML-RPC, SOAP, REST, etc)
