I started as a tele-sales executive then moved on to Field Sales and at the latter stages headed up the Motors section. As Key Account manager for all the major motor dealers I was involved in negotiations at all levels. I organised editorial content for the motors supplement, monitored pagination and ensured layouts and overall structure of the supplement was at the highest level. My remit was to cover all motors advertising within the Herald, Evening Times and Sunday Herald. I built up excellent working relationships with all my clients and still work with many of them to this day. I left the Herald to move on to bigger and better things at the Trinity Mirror Group as Recruitment Manager. -
