I am currently employed by a Medical Centre as a Practice Lead, where I oversea the Admin team, co-manage the appointment book, deal with day to day running of clinics and booking and arranging meetings for clinical teams as well as Patient forum groups. I have an excellent rapport with my colleagues and patients and work very well under my own initiative and also as part of a team. I have good knowledge of Microsoft and have also worked with other computer programs over my working career.Prior to working for the NHS I worked for Reed Global with a temporary position within Hexham General Hospital covering as Secretary in Cardiology and Rheumatology. Previous to that I worked for Manpower UK Ltd., and gained experience working within the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Support Secretary/Clerk Typist providing secretarial support to the Paediatric Secretaries in the Cardiothoracic Department at the Freeman Hospital and also working with the Paediatric Intensivists.Before joining the NHS in 2012 I worked within the Insurance industry where I was an Office Manager / Accounts Administrator for a London based Insurance Broker operating from an office in Ponteland. We arranged insurance for Fish Farms worldwide and the job included a lot of travel and dealing with overseas clients. My initial Insurance training started in Personal insurance working for the AA and then Swinton Insurance.
