Provide support and training on technological solutions to private veterinary practitioners. Support the avian Board veterinary team to coordinate small flock outreach and education. Present animal programs materials to a wide range of audiences. Tactfully garner the cooperation of livestock producers and industry partners on Board programs. Knowledge of animal health and care program requirements and procedures set by law. Assist and coordinate with animal health programs division to provide coverage in multiple areas. Participate in animal health investigations and assist field staff. Manipulate, organize, and update data in animal health databases. Work efficiently and effectively to accomplish a specific task.

Draft and review safety reports and risk assessments. Work independently and in collaboration with a team on safety projects. Assist multiple toxicologists with developing work processes to meet current and future business needs. Utilize problem solving skills with difficult and time sensitive safety needs. Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills. Adjust priorities as work volume changes throughout the course of the day. Develop excellent communication skills through interactions with regulatory and safety personnel.

Supervise up to 12 employees and monitor their productivity. Hone communication skills through interactions with customers and coworkers. Be able to problem solve quickly and efficiently. Record and update financial documents pertinent to business operations. Train new employees on best practices in food safety and customer service. Maintain sanitary food service environment.
