By promoting oenology and wine culture, I want to mobilize all the experience, skills and passion described below to develop cultural activities of all kinds related to the world of wines.As a tax advisor, I specialized in Compensation & Benefits matters (especially reward and occupational pensions) as well as in the taxation of International mobile workers. I opted for a multidisciplinary approach, working closely with tax experts, benefits consultants, social lawyers and management consultants (HR). To further develop my skills, I also studied human resources management as an independent student.As a specialist in advocacy (Belgium's major employers' federation), I was responsible for tax policy at Belgian, European and international level. For 22 years, I was involved in almost every new tax bill, working closely with members, cabinets and tax administrations. I was also an active member of the tax committees of Businesseurope and Business@OECD.These two activities have enabled me to develop a wide range of skills (managing meetings, public speaking, communication, writing opinions, organizing events, writing articles and books, creating and managing networks, defining trends, etc.).As part of these two activities, I have been fortunate enough to participate actively in various voluntary and honorary activities: as a member of the Board of Directors of the Belgian Institute of Tax Advisers and Accountants, as a member of the Board of Trustees of the most famous international tax publisher (IBFD - The International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation), as a member of the Board of Directors - Vice-President and President of the Belgian branch of the IFA (the International Fiscal Association) and as a member of the redaction committee of the Revue de la Fiscalité du Patrimoine.I have been particularly honoured by the recognition received from my peers, being nominated in 2015 for Taxman of the Year and in 2023 for Tax Professional of the Year, receiving the medal of the Belgian Customs and receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from the In-House Tax Forum in 2023. I have also been authorised to use the title of Honorary Tax Adviser of the FEB. At the end of a career, to receive such recognition is an immense honour and a great pleasure.Passionate about culture and society, I have also devoted much of my free time to cultural activities, developing a solid background in oenology, history, as well as literature of all kinds.All these activities inspire me to share numerous posts on Linkedin.#oenology #wineculture #history #heritage #literature
