I have enjoyed significant success throughout my career in leadership and key relationship management roles in the insurance industry and also as an entrepreneur in the fashion/retail industry.I began my role at Freestone in 2021 to create a foundation to build a new agency specializing in Private Client work and large Commercial clients from the ground up. Implementing a new and robust management system to support rapid growth, along with the skills needed to identify risks and work with carriers to develop creative solutions helped to achieve significant production within the first year. From middle market concerns to large, publicly traded companies my role has helped increase revenues exponentially and has allowed me to deepen relationships to solidify and maintain client loyalty and confidence.From 2016 through 2021 my role at Van Leer & Edwards Insurance Group involved assisting in the transition of a long time family agency to legacy ownership. Re-branding and creating new relationships with current and former clients led to high renewal retention as well as generating new production to achieve growth goals.From 2006 to 2015, my role as co-owner of a Scottsdale-based high-end retail boutique and design company has led to a specific, recurring and highly visible clientele from all over North America. Through experience in understanding financial results of company directional decisions as well as the importance of accurate product delivery, I have guided the business from concept in 2006 through the difficult market recession and grown the brand from obscurity into one that has been featured in fashion magazines around the country.
