Marin County Civic Center

Purchaser for the County of Marin. As purchaser, I worked with the other purchasers to help all departments in the County of Marin procure goods and trades over $5,000. I helped to create policy and managed Countywide contracts, and worked with vendors to ensure both parties fulfilled the obligations of their contract. Tested our ERP system using script testing and edited user manuals and created training documentation. Conducted county-wide training for all departments on the Procurement modules.

Purchased equipment and supplies for the Department of Public Works using the Purchasing card, cooperative agreements, and blanket purchase orders. Managed inventory, and reviewed invoices to ensure accuracy. Assisted our 5 executive leaders, various divisions, and the public, achieving positive results in a large, high energy department.
