The Ridge is a mainstream primary school in the north of Johannesburg.Physiotherapy intervention assists with the identification of management of postural and developmental difficulties affecting classroom function and participation.

Physiotherapist within Trauma, Medical, Surgical and Neurosurgical Intensive Care environments at Milpark, a Level 1 Trauma Centre.Physiotherapy intervention helps to manage patients in the acute setting who have been ventilated or require respiratory support. Intervention assists in weaning patients off artificial ventilation, preventing infection and minimizing functional decline. Early mobilization following trauma or surgery has been demonstrated to have significant positive outcomes for patients.

A nursery school for children with speech and language difficulties as their core learning difficulty. The Talk Shop caters for children between the ages of 2 and 6 with a wide range of diagnoses. Physiotherapy intervention assists children to reach age appropriate developmental milestones to support their learning. This includes the use of standardized tests as well as models of intervention such as MAES therapy and Neurodevelopmental Therapy to assess and manage physical development.There is a strong team approach within the environment and occupational and speech therapists, together with teachers and educational psychologists work closely with parents to help children reach their full potential.
