I am an educator, cultural worker, and editorial photographer based in New York City. My work focuses on marginalized communities, access to art education and representation of other perspectives. For ten years I have taught art to students ages K-12, in public, private and charter schools throughout the five boroughs, and adults, at colleges, art institutions and in museums in NYC.As the Education Manager at Magnum Photos (2018), and Senior Program Coordinator at SAGE and LGBTQ+ Senior Center (2022) I successfully created and organized unique, and artistic, educational programming. I managed daily online programs and in-person programs. Since 2019, I have been co-publisher At WMN a bi-annual zine showcasing art and poetry by marginalized lesbians.As an Editorial Photographer I photograph newsworthy culture and art for The New York Times, The New Yorker, NYC Tourism and New York Magazine.
