As a graphic designer in Incognito, I followed brand guidelines, creative briefs and creative direction to create desktop publish product, marketing, and sales enablement collateral for this software company.I also created a wide range of digital, and other internal and external communication materials including web page banners and presentations that included diagrams, icons, and, different kind of information to present to big clients internationally.Working with Incognito gave me the chance to assist on various creative projects, give ideas with relevant brand/goals and work with senior team members as well.

As a Lead Designer and Brand Specialist I led Incognito design projects including tradeshow designs, banners, executive briefings, collaborating across multiple functions. I made UI/UX designs for digital user journeys – campaign sites and infographics.I also led the development and creative direction for the Incognito brand update, website/microsites including designing and updating pages, and staying contemporary while supervising/managing external design agencies to create collateral and brand assets as well.I conceived and implemented concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversaw them to completion.Other main responsibilities was to provide creative guidance to marketing programs to ensure consistency of brand implementation and ensure contemporary approaches, work with Marketing and other internal teams within the company to deliver design projects against deadlines.

This was my first job in Canada, I organized, unified and developed the branding of this company. I created printed materials like brochures, flyers and bus benches. Other duties were designing graphics for digital content like social media, websites and blogs and updating presentations with new branding as well. I needed to do all design material in Chinese and English, so this is where I gained the experience in how to work with several languages in the same design.WordPress was the platform that was used in order to update the content in the website, so I needed to know how to change/edit all the graphics and copy directly on admin page.

When I started in this job I was hired as a Graphic Designer, I started only preparing logos for the templates that we had for restaurants, Tap to Eat was similar to Skip the Dishes or UberEats without the drivers. After several weeks of doing just this, they noticed that I had good ideas and good execution so they started lto listen. I helped to increase the monthly revenue due to a new website template and marketing materials that I designed to offer them to their clients and I was able to work hand to hand with sales department and with the web developers, I also helped customer service by talking directly to clients to explain our process or to explain any technical things that needed to be explained.After a while, we needed to increase our team as I was the only one in the design department and I was included in the hiring process, later I had 3 designers in my team, I was promoted to Creative Director. Part owner of the Studio, I was in charge of talking directly to our customers to understand their needs. I also took part on sales (selling graphic materials), customer service and managing different types of presentations and meetings with our customers. Here I learned how to be more organizational, how to comprehend more the client and also how to multitask in a better way. As the Creative Director, I was in charge of our branding and in charge of every project that we have. I worked on advertising, branding, social media, websites, newsletters, digital content, pre-press and big format materials. This was the time where I went all in and started to constantly learn and update my skills.To be able to do this job I needed to have management skills, sales skills, customer service and so on.

DIMBC is Baja California's Maquiladora Industry printed directory. My duties where talking directly with clients and different departments to understand the needs and requirements that the client needed, the directory had plenty of ad spaces and I was the one designing them, in order to do this task correctly, I needed to know how to use all the adobe software but mainly inDesign, I needed to know about pre-press, how to follow guidelines, and also have good customer service skills. Since the DIMBC is seasonal printed, we had an schedule to follow, working on the ads, then working on the directory itself and finally getting all pieces together to send it to print. Aside of the printed content I also had duties such as designing digital content and other promotional materials.

AP Specialties is a company that prints on promotional products, this company was based in Tijuana, Mexico with headquarters in San Clemente California, some of the big clients are Disney, Dreamworks and many more. My job was to prepare all the artwork in order to print them in the desired promotional product, such as pens, stress balls, key-chains, etc. The progress was separating the colours of the logos in order to print them in CMYK, resize them to the printing area and then send the artwork to production, Illustrator was the software that we mainly used.
