Aarhus Case Competition (ACC) is a week-long annual case competition exclusively for Nordic business students. The mission of ACC is to prepare business students for a business career. ACC’s aim is to reduce the gap between the two worlds of academia and business and through case solving make students able to use theoretical knowledge to provide the best real life solution.In my position as Head of Logistics I get to apply my project-based experience and structural mindset in order to plan the details around the event. Further responsibilities include: ➢ Responsible for all logistics around the event ➢ Structuring details across workgroups and partners ➢ Creating time schedules for both participants and comittee members for the entire weekThe job at ACC is voluntary work.

In the summer of 2014 I worked as a Service Assistant at “Den Runde Kiosk”, which is one of the busiest kiosks in Tivoli Friheden. The job included making food and serving customers in a busy and dynamic environment.

It was my job to introduce new students to campus and student life at Aarhus BSS by giving various lectures and in general help them through their first week. The job also included organizing various social activities.

As a Tour Guide my main task was to ensure a great and memorable vacation for the guests. Furthermore, the job included:➢ Hosting and organizing welcome meeting and tours➢ Hotel service and problem-solving➢ Administrative tasks The job as a tour guide has improved my personal skills, as I have been accustomed to communicate with many different people and to handle unfamiliar situations, which has given me a good sense of situation.
